The BUILD Framework™

The BUILD Framework is a five-step methodology developed for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and institutions across Africa who need a practical, repeatable way to move from an idea to a business that actually holds up under real market conditions.

Rather than treating digital skills, AI adoption, and business fundamentals as separate tracks, BUILD ties them into a single sequence: assess where you actually stand, close the knowledge gaps that matter most, implement with real tools, use data and AI to extend your reach, and build in the habits that keep results going after the programme ends.

Every cohort starts with an honest audit — not a generic questionnaire, but a structured look at what’s actually working in the business today, what isn’t, and where the biggest constraint sits.

02 — Understand

Targeted, applied learning — closing the specific knowledge gaps identified at baseline, contextualised to Rwanda and East Africa rather than generic international case studies.

03 — Implement

Hands-on application with real tools — every session produces something the participant keeps and uses, not just notes.

04 — Leverage

Using AI, data, and networks to extend what a small team can do without a proportional increase in headcount or cost.

05 — Deliver

Measurable outcomes, reviewed against the baseline, with a plan for sustaining momentum after the formal programme closes.
